Business Resources

LED's Business Resources section focuses on expansion of the state's business communities through the cultivation of small and emerging businesses. Through our Regional Directors and Business Counseling Centers, we provide assistance on a local level.   • Regional Services
    Louisiana Economic Development employs eight Regional Directors, each in a different part of the state and each a vital source of information, advice and wisdom for a business considering relocation to or expansion in Louisiana.
  • Louisiana Small Business Development Centers
    A network of Small Business Development Centers for small businesses impacted by hurricanes Katrina and/or Rita. The centers provide a central location for businesses to receive support on sustainable planning and recovery information.
  • Entrepreneurial Services and Programs
    To encourage entrepreneurship and embrace entrepreneurial success for all of the state's citizens, LED provides several programs to the entrepreneurial community. Learn more here.
